WHAT IS WIC?
WIC is a nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children eat well and stay healthy.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
- Pregnant women
- New moms (up to six months after delivery)
- Infants (babies under the age of one)
- Children under the age of five
You must also live in Indiana, be a United States citizen or Qualified Alien (if age 18 or over), and meet income guidelines.
2019 CHANGES TO WIC INCOME GUIDELINES
On July 1, 2019 WIC’s income guidelines will be undergoing several changes. Please refer to the eligibility chart to see if you qualify for benefits.
Families that are already receiving Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF benefits will continue to be income eligible for the WIC Program.
