The WIC Program (Women, Infants, and Children) offers services to women who are pregnant, new mothers, women in early postpartum period, infants, and children to the age of 5. It is a nutrition education program that provides the services of Nurses, Dieticians, Lactation Consultants, and Nutrition Assistants, all for free! WIC provides participating families with an eWIC card (EBT or debit card) to use at the grocery store to purchase healthy foods. This can help you save on your grocery budget. WIC offers breastfeeding support. WIC can help with referrals to many other needed services. WIC has late night and some Saturday appointments. If you receive Medicaid, Food Stamps, or TANF, you automatically qualify for WIC. You may also qualify based on your income and household size. Call today to schedule an appointment!
