MEET OUR STAFF

Lora Burke-Mulkey, RN, WIC Program Manager

Burke-Mulkey

Lora has been in the medical industry since 1975, graduating from Indiana University at Kokomo in 1995 with a degree in nursing. In 1998 she began working at Indiana Health Centers (IHC) Kokomo in their Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Program. IHC’s dedicated WIC team strives to help WIC participants learn how to eat healthy, its impact on overall health, healthy lifestyle choices, and the importance of medical and dental care. WIC strives to educate from the time of conception until children are age 5, the most important years of childhood development. Lora says being part of IHC allows her, and other staff, the opportunity to offer participants all types of services, such as medical, dental, behavioral health, podiatry, and eye care. IHC is always seeking additional services to offer so that all the patient’s needs can be met in one place! It is indeed a pleasure, and a great source of pride, to work at IHC because they truly care about the patients, their employees, and the community as a whole!
